About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Preferred License: Current State or Compact License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience Preferred - Patient Ratio Experience of 2-3 - Charting System Experience Required (Epic) - Travel Experience Required Description: Provide care for critically ill patients in a Medical-Surgical ICU. Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Manage a patient ratio of 1:2 during shifts. Demonstrate expertise in various specialized procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Utilize advanced technology for patient care, including ventilators and monitoring equipment. Implement infection prevention protocols and best practices. Maintain patient records accurately using Epic charting system. Support patients and families through education and emotional support. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
