About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:00 - 06:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Knowledge of telemetry Experience in care of patients post TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, watchman procedures, and cardiac drips Description: Candidates must have post catheterization or electrophysiology recovery experience. The unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4 for days and nights. Staffing includes a charge nurse, patient care technician, and monitor technician. The type of equipment utilized includes telemetry monitoring systems. The documentation system in use is Allscripts. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. Floating policy applies to like units. Candidates should meet hospital-specific patient experience requirements. Advanced skills are needed for procedures performed on the unit, including TAVR, ablations, watchman procedures, STEMI, pacemakers, and cardio MEMS.
