Job Title: Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8x5 Rotating Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Experience in Pre-Op and PACU patient care settings Must be available to take on-call as scheduled Description: The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and delivering safe, appropriate care within the scope of their practice to patients in the Perioperative setting. Demonstrates the ability to work in Pre-Op and PACU patient care settings. This position will require varied shifts with some on-call obligations. Some responsibilities may include patient assessment, care planning, and delivery of care in compliance with clinical standards. Candidates should be flexible and adaptable to changing unit needs. The position is available due to the replacement of permanent staff.
