About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Description: Immediate start needed. Facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. The location is approximately 45 miles east of a major city and 2 hours from the coast. It is also 1 hour from several major universities. The facility is a 15-minute drive from a nearby lake. The unit has 26 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity. Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension. Team players with engaged and positive attitudes are preferred. Education required is an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Dress code consists of any scrubs.
