About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS Must-Have: Fetal Monitoring Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. This position requires strong skills in fetal monitoring. You will be working in a unit with a total of 24 LDRP beds and 10 NICU beds. The patient ratios include 1:1-2 for LDRP, 1:4 for postpartum, 1:4 for well infants, and 1:2-3 for NICU. Available staffing includes RNs, unit clerks, patient care technicians, and lactation consultants. Key equipment used in this unit includes fetal monitoring systems and Alaris IV pumps. The documentation system in use is CPN. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts, with no floating requirements. The unit performs various procedures related to labor and delivery, including C-sections.
