About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years of Operating Room experience License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: Clienttion badge required and must be provided by agency Description: The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The shifts are scheduled for 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Ratios for patient care are 1:1. On-call requirements include one day per week and one weekend per month. Travelers may be required to float between campuses as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room. First-time travelers are not accepted. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS and PALS preferred. Candidates should have experience with a variety of surgical procedures. The typical patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census ranges from 8 to 12. The facility features a collaborative interdisciplinary support team. All candidates must meet compliance requirements prior to starting the assignment. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency assignments during hurricane season. RTO must be included at the time of submission.
