About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience License: Active RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years recent labor and delivery experience Description: This position is for a travel registered nurse in the labor and delivery specialty. The unit has a total of 13 beds, along with 2 triage rooms and 2 operating rooms. Staff varies between 3 to 5 registered nurses depending on census during day and night shifts. Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:2. The nursing staff is expected to perform tasks including inductions, cesarean sections, and TOLAC. Candidates should have scrub capability and charge experience preferred. An upbeat and positive personality is the best fit for this role. Four weekend shifts will be included in each schedule, with one on-call shift. Holiday schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
