About the Position

The 3B/3C Stroke Telemetry Unit is a high-acuity, fast-paced medical-surgical environment specializing in the care of acute stroke and complex telemetry patients. This 34-bed unit is designed to deliver evidence-based, protocol-driven care with a strong focus on patient safety, rapid intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration.   RN Responsibilities & Expectations Perform and document frequent neurological assessments (including NIH Stroke Scale) Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in real time Ensure compliance with stroke core measures (dysphagia screening, education, care plans) Administer medications using BCMA standards with a focus on safety and accuracy Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team (providers, therapy, case management) Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-turnover environment Maintain a constant focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety ACLS, BLS, NIH, and ability to read basic rhythm strips prior to arriving at our facility.
