About the Position
Position: Travel Mental Health Therapist – Adolescent
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health/mental health experience
- Experience providing clinical services to outpatient populations preferred
- Adolescent mental health experience preferred (adult behavioral health experience considered)
- Active Virginia license required to practice
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level clinical background as applicable to the role
- Experience with discharge planning preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- CPI certification required
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR preferred
- Ability to provide patient-focused care in a behavioral health setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
