Job Duties
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Medical/Surgical patients with orthopedic and trauma surgical conditions.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress throughout hospitalization.
• Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and intervene appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience in a similar-sized facility required.
• Strong Orthopedic/Trauma Surgical experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Current resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days required.
• Current Med/Surg skills checklist required.
• Professional references required.
• Nursys license verification required.
• Badge-appropriate photo required.
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted for this assignment.
