About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Charge Nurse experience preferred - Experience in patient population including adults to geriatrics - Proficient in Epic charting system Description: A registered nurse is needed for a cardiac telemetry unit. The nurse will care for patients post-myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease. The nurse is expected to manage peritoneal dialysis, telemetry, EKG, and Doppler. The typical patient ratio is 1:5 in a unit with 16 beds and an average daily census of 16 patients. Floating to other units within the facility may be required. If assigned to a major holiday, the nurse will be expected to work. Compliance is required for timely onboarding. The candidate will be clinically reviewed for fit before final approval.
