Candidates must include their New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate with their profile. This license is required to staff for temporary needs. Candidates must ensure their agency can conduct a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance. As of January 1, 2024, all new and returning agency staff are required to have completed de-escalation training as part of their onboarding process. Candidates must have EPIC experience; this should be noted in the submission. Any requested time off during the assignment must be indicated and verified at the time of application. Candidates should note that requests for time off after application will not be approved, and no more than five days of time off will be accepted. The outpatient infusion center is dedicated to providing patient care excellence. It offers a comfortable and convenient setting for those who require frequent infusions of medications. Infusion services are provided by registered nurses who specialize in intravenous therapy. Candidates will be involved in administering various treatments including intravenous antibiotics, antifungal therapy, and blood product transfusions. Care includes the maintenance of central venous access devices and the placement of peripherally inserted central venous catheters (PICC lines). Candidates will also provide IV immune globulin therapy and hydration therapy, as well as teach patients about self-administration of medications. Specialty medications administered will include those for Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, bone loss, chronic kidney disease, allergic asthma, and multiple sclerosis. Personal scrubs in any color are required; designs or cartoons are not allowed. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Permanent address must be included in the profile and must match the driver's license or state ID. Address validation will occur during the compliance process. Certain counties will not be considered for travel assignments; candidates should ensure their permanent address is included in their profile.
