Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry / Stepdown / Medical-Surgical (Travel, Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care for telemetry, stepdown, and medical-surgical patients in a 31-bed unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 throughout the shift
• Float to medical-surgical unit as needed based on staffing and census requirements
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to all facility dress code and infection control policies, including scrub color requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (all ACLS modules must be completed)
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or stepdown nursing experience
• Proficiency with total patient care delivery model
• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Background in both telemetry and medical-surgical nursing environments
• Experience in a travel nursing capacity with demonstrated adaptability to new units
