Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care for Emergency Department patients with a variable 4:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Wear required royal blue scrubs in accordance with facility dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP certifications required within 90 days of start
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environments
