Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite | Every 3rd Weekend Required (Saturday & Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in the Operating Room across a variety of surgical services
• Float between multiple affiliated facilities and service lines within the main OR as needed
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for complex cases including cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and Level I Trauma standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to both scrub and circulate required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level I course and certificate preferred
• Experience with orthopedic fracture cases is a plus
