Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center setting
• Operate within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs and medication nurses to manage a shared patient caseload
• Perform on-call duties and weekend shifts as needed per unit requirements
• Adhere to unit protocols, patient safety standards, and facility compliance requirements throughout the assignment
• Float to like units or campuses within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (strictly enforced)
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Willingness to work holidays as required (up to 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays if all fall within the assignment period)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent experience in the specialty
• EPIC EMR experience
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
