Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Neurology unit utilizing a team nursing model
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, monitor, and document neurological status and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience
• Strong neurology experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience (at least one completed assignment) required, unless candidate holds 3+ years of recent experience
• Experience in a large hospital setting
• Level 1 Trauma experience
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent Medical Surgical / Neurology experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• BSN degree (required only for select unit types; ADN accepted for this position)
