Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients with diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, NSTEMI, and Arrhythmias
• Manage patients with secondary respiratory conditions such as COPD, Pneumonia, and Respiratory Failure
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other campus locations as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and requirements
