Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care with a primary focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, NSTEMI, and Arrhythmias
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD, Pneumonia, and Respiratory Failure
• Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry monitoring for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other campus units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with Heart Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia in a stepdown or PCU setting
• Travel nursing experience is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
