Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care unit setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Float to similar units within skillset as needed, including pre-scheduled float assignments to nearby facilities within a 40-mile radius
• Care for occasional pediatric surgical patients, including ENT and orthopedic cases
• Document patient care and clinical information using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Adhere to all facility infection control and health compliance policies, including masking requirements during flu season when applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• AHA or Red Cross Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior critical access or rural hospital experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is a plus, though not required
