Number of Beds – 23 step down, 16 med surg
Number of Staff –
Type of staff:
Day Shift – 1 charge, 11 RN, 4 PCT
Night Shift – 1 charge, 10 RN, 4 PCT
Patient Ratios – 1:3-4 Step down, 1:4-6 med surg
Type of equipment – lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs
EMR - Cerner
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
2 years nursing experience
Experience working with trachs
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Previous experience with cerner
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Trach care, chest tubes, wound dressing changes
Best personality Fit:
Flexibility and high level of clinical competence
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
ACLS/BLS
Floating Area(s):
Other med surg and progressive care units
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - Navy blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Weekends and On call(if any)
6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6 week period
