About the Position

ID: 63973539 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00) Description: CVOR RN - PA license in hand2 years experience minimum required***Must have cardio thoracic experience!The Heart team typically works 7am-3pm Monday-Friday. If they are in a 7am heart case then they would clock in at 5:45am and clock out at 2:15pm. If they are in a 8:15 heart case then they would clock in at 6:40am and clock out at 3:10pm. However, if they are on "Call" that day, they would stay until the cases are finished, which varies then they would be on "Call" from home as long as they live 30-40mins away and call would end at 7am the next day. They would be required to be on weekday call 1-2 times per week.Weekend Call would be being available from home unless called in and is from 7am Saturday to 7am Monday. Weekend call would be 1-2 weekends per 6 week schedule. The team rarely gets called in on weekends.Weekday call would be required 1-2 times per week and Weekend call would be required 1-2 times per schedule. Weekend call would be Friday at 3pm til Monday at 7am. We do our schedule 6 weeks at a time. There are currently 3 RN's on the heart team. The team rarely gets called in on weekends and on the average I would say that we do at least 2 cases a day. If there is not a heart case, the CVOR RN is expected to do other OR cases (General, Gyne, Ortho, Vascular, Robotics, Cysto).Call is split between 4 RNs.Other duties when not in a case would be: -picking cases -stocking rooms -giving breaks and lunches Special Equipment : - #Tier4 Travel Compliance Submittal Instructions: Minimum 1 year of experience required unless otherwise specified in the job description. Active PA or Compact license required at submission. Required certifications must be current at submission (refer to job description/unit description for specialty-specific requirements). AHA certifications only accepted. Background concerns must be disclosed prior to submission for client review. Submission Process: SSN, DOB, and RTO required at submission. Candidates must be available to work every other holiday. Submission Details: Two supervisor references preferred. Local candidates accepted at the travel rate. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital; refer to the job description for specialty-specific floating expectations. Cerner experience preferred. Former permanent employees are not eligible to return as travelers Travel pairs accepted based on facility need. Cannot promise same schedule. Start Requirements: Candidates must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed. Fingerprinting must be completed within 24 48 hours of signing. Drug screen and required labs must be completed within 24 48 hours of signing. Demographic sheet must be submitted within 48 hours of signing. All compliance requirements must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to start. Modules: First 8 hours of orientation is not billable. Approximately 1 hour of pre-start modules required. Modules must be completed before entering the facility.
