Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Carlsbad, New Mexico

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Manage care for adult patients and occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using MedHost EMR
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
• Participate in census flex on-call as needed prior to scheduled shift start when census is low

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be registered with the state of New Mexico (required for fingerprinting process)
• Ability to float and accept census flex on-call assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Prior experience with MedHost EMR
