Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the main Operating Room
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes throughout all phases of surgical care
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekday and weekend call shifts as scheduled
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float between facilities within the state as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start; no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations: 2 primary and 2 secondary weekday calls per 6-week cycle, plus weekend call coverage
• Los Angeles fire card obtained within the last 30 days required prior to start
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience charting in Epic electronic health records system
• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with scrub and circulating roles within the OR
