Contract | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:30) with possible night shift rotation (19:00–7:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties in an Operating Room setting, primarily focused on oncology and general surgery cases
• Float across surgical specialties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a well-rounded clinical skill set
• Participate in weeknight call coverage averaging 1–2 nights per week, and weekend call approximately every 4–5 weeks (24-hour Saturday or Sunday, 1–2 days per month)
• Manage complex surgical cases including but not limited to Whipple, Esophagectomy, Bowel Resection, Free Flaps, Mastectomy, Neck Dissection, and Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to facility policies including a 100% nicotine-free environment requirement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Oncology surgery experience with general surgery experience required
• Minimum Level 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 strongly preferred
• Active RN licensure (Nebraska RN State License accepted as pending)
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted); first-time travelers not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• DaVinci robotic surgical system experience highly preferred
• Experience in Orthopedic, Neurology, and/or Oncology surgical specialties highly preferred
• Broad familiarity with complex oncology cases such as Adrenalectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Thyroidectomy, Melanoma Excisions, and Breast Reconstruction procedures
