Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room
Location: Everett, MA

Pay: $2,928 to $3,162 per week
Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for experienced OR nurses with prior travel experience who thrive in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients aged 16 years and older.
• Prepare patients and operating rooms before surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process.
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment while adhering to infection control standards.
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required (first-time travelers will not be considered).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience caring for adult perioperative patients (ages 16+).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
