About the Position
RN - Neonatal ICU
NICU RN
We are a fast paced Level IV NICU. We care for infants from 23 weeks and beyond, with
varying degrees of acuity.
Manager will be interviewing.

- 885 licensed beds (Adults); 196 (Pediatrics)
- Level 1 Trauma Designation
- Teaching Hospital: Yes, Academic Medical Center
- Chest Pain Center - Adults
- Stroke Center
- Department Information:
- Census: average daily census - 71
- Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years NICU exp required
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- 23 week - term infants
- Surgical needs (NEC, CDH, ect.)
- Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
- BLS
- NRP
- Skills required:
- 2 years of NICU experience required
- Basic vent management
- Central line management
- Pre/post-surgical management
- Tracheostomy management
- G-tube management
- Basic breastfeeding skills
- Bottle feeding skills
- Gavage feeding management
- Blood transfusion
- Infant venous stick skills
- Support within the Department:
- NAs with a 1:20 ratio
- 2 Charge RNs each shift
- Technology/Equipment:
