About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an 18-bed Bone Marrow Transplant unit
• Administer chemotherapy and oncology-related treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1, ensuring high-quality, individualized patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support BMT patient outcomes
• Float to a Medical-Surgical floor on an as-needed basis when unit census is low
• Work weekends as needed based on departmental requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with oncology nursing and chemotherapy administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy certification
• Prior Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience (not required)
