About the Position
Job Title: RN - MICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year recent experience in the field of specialty; 18 months experience will be considered if working under the highest level of professional license. License: Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIH or Red Cross certifications required; PALS preferred if working in a pediatric unit. Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals; must work every other weekend. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. The unit provides complex monitoring and treatment for adult patients. Nurses are expected to exhibit high levels of professional competency. They will collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The team is dedicated to making the patient experience pleasant and comfortable. Safety and security in the environment are top priorities.
