Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse Profession: Licensed Vocational Nurse Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ Years of Long Term Care Experience License: Michigan Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - BLS Certification - Michigan State License Description: Under direct supervision and/or direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse. Performs duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients. Adheres to established methods and procedures. Strives for superior performance by consistently delivering quality service. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and family-centered care. Attendance policy in place advocating for patient population. Contractor will be terminated after three absences or being 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift. Exceptions may be made for communicable diseases or hospitalizations with supporting evidence.
