About the Position

Job Title: Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Urology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Outpatient clinic experience; recent experience with catheters; seasoned traveler preferred Description: Seeking an experienced Urology Registered Nurse for an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Urology. Experience in emergency room, pre/post-operative care, day surgery, ambulatory care, or home health is a plus. Travel experience is required. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care and maintaining a fast-paced environment. Expected nurse-to-patient ratios will be between 6 to 8 patients. No on-call or weekend shifts are required. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility if necessary. The role includes various skills such as biohazard waste disposal, chart preparation, and patient teaching. Additional responsibilities may include dressing changes, catheter management, and scheduling appointments. Candidates must be proficient with the Epic charting system. References covering relevant experience within the last three years are required. All candidates should clearly outline their interview availability when applying.
