About the Position

Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in electronic fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a contractual position for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The shift will be from 07:00 to 19:00. No call requirements are expected during this assignment. The nursing unit consists of 32 beds with a staff of 150, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:2. For day and night shifts, there will be 1 charge nurse, 1 co-charge nurse, and RNs to accommodate a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio. The unit is equipped with Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US. Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech. Permanent positions are available on the unit. Typical procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude. The dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs, with no t-shirts. Only solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are acceptable. Candidates are expected to adhere to the unit's attendance policy. This is a highly competitive market, and any additional experience with new equipment or technology will be an advantage. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate staff needs.
