Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This local contract role involves delivering compassionate patient care, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.

The Local LPN will play a vital role in monitoring patient conditions, supporting individualized care plans, and maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients and families regarding treatments and ongoing care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Mexico
