About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Licensed as an RN Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Previous experience in OB, labor & delivery, and nursery care is required. Knowledge in pre-transition newborn care is necessary. Description: The responsibilities include labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery, as well as newborn care prior to transition. This position serves all ages. Patient ratios include laboring mothers 1:1 and couplet care unit. The role requires a team player with a positive attitude. Knowledge in intrapartum and postpartum care is essential. Nursery knowledge is also required. Dress code allows for any color scrubs, with no unacceptable attire. Unit information includes a 6-bed capacity.
