About the Position

Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a behavioral health setting. License: Active Registered Nurse license required upon submission. Certifications: BCLS certification required. Must-Have: Solid clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities. Previous charge experience preferred. Description: Float pool nurses are experienced nurses who will work in various inpatient units. Candidates will be responsible for providing care to children, adolescents, and adults. Candidates must possess strong clinical judgment and assessment skills. They will be required to float across all inpatient units as per facility needs. In addition, candidates may work as charge nurses during shifts, without additional compensation for charge duties. Candidates are expected to complete fingerprinting before starting the role. They must comply with strict drug testing policies, which include passing a drug screen on the first attempt. All candidates are expected to float to any age population when scheduling requires. RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application and will not be accepted after submission. All candidates must have their permanent RN license in hand for submission.
