About the Position
Job Title: CVICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: PICC line management experience Experience with starting IVs Previous charge experience preferred Cerner experience preferred Description: Position is for a CVICU RN. Shift is from 18:45 to 07:00, with a schedule of 3x12 hours. Open to 4x12 schedules. Every third weekend is required. First-timers are accepted. Client may cancel up to 36 hours without payment. If more hours are canceled, the client will be billed accordingly. Candidates will float as needed within scope to meet facility needs. Block scheduling accommodations may be discussed with management. Local candidates are accepted. Candidates must have active state license or be in the application process. RTO restrictions are ideally no more than 5 days. Special requirements include PICC line management and experience with starting IVs. Charge experience is preferred. Cerner charting experience is preferred. Facility is an acute care hospital with a total staffed bed count of 562. The hospital is a Level I trauma center. Scrub color is any solid color. The patient ratio is 2 for day shifts and 2 for night shifts. The daily census is 6, with 8 beds available in the unit. Candidates are expected to work with adult patient age groups. Travelers must confirm commitment to all shift requirements and responsibilities. Working two of three major holidays is required.
