About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 or 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a large, urban hospital License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIH and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Experience with drips and telemetry - EPIC charting experience - Ability to float as needed Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a fast-paced medical/surgical unit. The unit specializes in care for cardiovascular patients. Staff will care for stable heart and lung transplants and Ventricular Assist Devices. Patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Travelers may float to other units based on staffing needs. Working weekends is required as part of the schedule. RTO is limited to two weeks and must be submitted with the application. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. This is a 100% nicotine-free facility. All candidates are expected to maintain compliance with facility requirements.
