About the Position

Registered Nurse – NICU (Level 2)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (8 weeks, with possible extension) | Nights, 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Level 2 NICU setting, primarily serving patients 33 weeks gestational age and above
• Float as needed to Post Partum unit for newborn baby care
• Perform baby catches in the OR for C-section cases
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic health records
• Complete required pre-start facility modules prior to first day of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates are not eligible)
• Ability to float to Post Partum/Women's Health as needed
• No more than 10 days of requested time off during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Women's Health or Labor and Delivery settings
• Familiarity with C-section OR support and newborn stabilization
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
