Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), Monday–Friday Rotating | Call requirement included

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a high-volume operating room environment with 17 rooms and approximately 45 cases
• Provide perioperative nursing care with a focus on at least two of the following specialty areas: neuro/neuro spine, ortho/ortho spine, vascular, or robotics
• Participate in on-call shifts, including approximately two 8-hour overnight call shifts per six-week schedule and one 24-hour call shift (Saturday or Sunday) per eight-week schedule
• Utilize facility systems including EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Adhere to unit protocols, attend staff meetings, and engage with the unit communication board

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, acute Operating Room experience (within the last 6 months)
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate
• Strong experience in at least 2 of the following: neuro/neuro spine, ortho/ortho spine, vascular, or robotics
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Must not have been primarily in a management role most recently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in 3 or more of the priority specialty areas: neuro/neuro spine, ortho/ortho spine, vascular, and robotics
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
