Registered Nurse – CVICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting at a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 in accordance with unit standards
• Work every other weekend as part of a block schedule requirement
• Float between units within the facility as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in a CVICU setting
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to adhere to a block schedule including every other weekend
• Willingness to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols and workflows
• Experience in a high-acuity ICU environment with 1:1 patient ratios
