Roles & Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
Monitor patient hemodynamics and provide critical care during procedures
Administer medications and manage sedation as ordered
Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment
Document patient care and procedural details accurately in EPIC
Provide patient education and emotional support before and after procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license in Utah or compact state
2+ years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Ability to take on-call rotations as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac anatomy and hemodynamic monitoring
Sterile technique and infection control
Interpretation of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
Catheterization lab equipment and contrast media
Strong communication and teamwork skills
