Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This position involves working with cardiac and telemetry patients in a non-stepdown unit, offering both routine and complex care. A temp-to-perm opportunity is possible for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
