Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab to join our travel assignment team in Hyannis, MA. This role involves delivering patient care through the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• Properly utilize the nursing process in patient care and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide documentation of patient assessments, including physical and psychological dimensions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the charge nurse role and nursing informatics.
• Act as a resource person regarding patient care and staff orientation.
• Participate in unit staff meetings and mandatory training programs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain professional development activities.
• Represent the hospital positively in the community and maintain confidentiality.
• Consistently deliver service excellence to all patients and co-workers.

Requirements of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Completion of the Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) course
• Pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams before the start date
• Experience in acute cardiac unit/stepdown and post-procedure monitoring
• Demonstrated skills in I.V. administration and telemetry monitoring
• Use of lead apron required
• On-Call availability for off-shift, weekends, and holidays
