About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour or Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Long-Term Acute Care experience required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Acute Care - Experience in Meditech EMR preferred - Experience in MS/Tele or ICU with 1:4 ratios - Every other weekend availability required - Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with at least two years of current Long-Term Acute Care experience. Candidates with MS/Tele or ICU experience are preferred. Familiarity with Meditech EMR is highly desirable. Nurses will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 5:1. Knowledge and experience in various nursing skills and procedures are essential, including but not limited to: - Antiarrhythmics, anticoagulation therapy, and antihypertensives - Blood product administration and central line care/management - Management of dysrhythmias and emergency medications - Interpretation of arterial blood gases and IV vasopressors - Ventilator management and tracheostomy care This position entails providing quality care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population. The nursing team will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
