About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute care hospital ICU License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience, BLS, ACLS, NIH Description: Join our dynamic ICU team as a Travel RN. Our unit consists of two pods with a total of 28 beds. We have a high staff-to-patient ratio with continual support. Typical patient ratios are 1:2, varying based on acuity. We provide care for neuro surgical, trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and withdrawal patients. All ventilated patients are admitted to our unit. We are looking for a candidate with flexibility and a patient-centered approach. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to jump in and support the team. The unit features a variety of experienced nursing staff, some with over 20 years of service. We recently expanded our capacity to care for more ICU patients. The intensivists are knowledgeable and committed to teaching and collaboration. Our staff is welcoming and values the contributions of travelers. We maintain an average census of 100-125 patients, ensuring a busy and engaging work environment.
