About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical AM Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry/PCU License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR/charting experience - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or PCU. Strong background in EPIC EMR/charting is required. A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience is essential. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent in the last 5 years. Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 is preferred. Assigned populations include Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client. The RN will be placed in the vacancy that best fits their experience. The position entails working 36 hours per week or 3 - 12 hour shifts. Every other weekend is required. RNs are expected to float to other equivalent units as needed. Typical patient ratios are 1:5-6.
