About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU. License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR/charting experience - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: 2 years of RN experience minimum in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU is required. Must have EPIC EMR/charting experience. Candidates must have at least 1 year of travel nursing experience. 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years is required. Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 is expected. The RN will be assigned to the vacancy that best fits their experience. The unit will include populations in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client. This position requires working 36 hours per week, typically in 3 - 12 hour shifts. Every other weekend is required. The RN is expected to float to other equivalent units as needed. Typical ratios are 1:5-6.
