About the Position

Job Title: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: RCIS or RRT Must-Have Skills/Experience: Diagnostic and interventional procedures Description: Responsible for scrubbing during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Requires experience in occasional IR procedures such as vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube placement. Experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures is essential. Preferred skills include manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and experience in pre/post unit activities. Must be a team player and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Patient population primarily includes adults. Equipment includes GE for fluoro, with upcoming transition to new hemodynamics equipment. Patient electronic health records are maintained using Cerner. Supervisor will oversee daily operations within the unit.
