About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Progressive Care experience Comprehensive assessment skills Peripheral lab draws Experience with gtts including norepinephrine, nicardipine, precedex, insulin, diltiazem Description: The position requires an RN for a Progressive Care unit. The unit has 27 beds and operates with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4. Equipment utilized includes Alaris Pumps and EKG monitoring. Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. The type of patients in this unit includes those with sepsis, respiratory distress, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude. Flexibility and empathy are essential qualities for this role. Dress code requires navy scrubs; hoodies and non-approved sweatshirts are not permitted.
