About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: Cath lab experience required Must-Have: - Must have a vehicle for this assignment - Floating between units may be required based on skill set Description: 1st Timer - Cardiac Cath Lab RN The position will float between units as per needs. On-call is required on both weekdays and weekends. Weekends are not mandatory. Block schedules are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Special requirements include prior Cath lab experience. Travelers may float to other units based on skill sets, and refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. A vehicle is required for travel. The facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 536 beds. Staff can wear any color scrubs; scrubs for the Cath lab will be provided. Charting will be done using Epic. This facility does not charge a parking fee. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview. Modules are required to be completed during orientation and annually. Travelers should commit to working three of the five specified holidays. All requests for time off must be made upfront during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the contract. References covering a year of experience may be required. Travelers may float between nearby facilities based on contract requirements. Specific charting experience in Epic is required. Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring. Candidates should ensure they meet all specified experience and qualifications before applying.
